As a co-teacher in our center, you will play a critical role in shaping the lives of young children, making a lasting impact that extends far beyond the classroom.
Job Information: Our staff works in a low child-to-teacher ratio, where children learn through a play-based curriculum created and implemented consistently with developmental practices with children’s interests in mind.
About the positions:We offer a range of opportunities to suit different needs. The substitute position provides flexibility, allowing you to work when it's convenient for you and the program. The Preschool and Toddler positions are full-time, 40 hours a week, providing stability and a consistent schedule. Compensation is competitive and based on experience and education, ranging from $18 to $21 per hour. We highly value your professional growth and offer opportunities for continued education and professional development in child development, ensuring that you can continually enhance your skills and knowledge.
To qualify for this position, an applicant must have the minimum of the primary 12 early Childhood Education Unites. A desired applicant has a degree in Child Development or the required 12 Early Childhood Education with a degree in Human Development, Psychology, Sociology, or Liberal Studies units. You should also have strong leadership skills, be organized, energetic, reliable, self-directed, resourceful, computer skills, and excellent interpersonal relationship skills. Most importantly, you should have a love for children and a desire to continue learning.
